Our basic labour rate components is in accordance the labour Management Agreement 2005 – 2007 for the Building and Construction Industry, basic emolument includes End of Project Bonus – 16%, Holidays with Pay-10%, Sick leave with pay – 5%, all this premium amounts to 31% which is added on to All basic labour rate on our system for the period stated above. All other premium will have to be added given special conditions. Please refer to your labour Management wage sheets for further reference to terms and conditions or consult the Master Builders Association of Jamaica for further information. Please note that basic labour rates are revised every year and subject to change commencing as of the 1st of February to 31st day of January to the following year by the Mater Builder Association given the market conditions at the time.
